About

Kogane Keori Co., Ltd.

We are one of the few wool spinners in Japan that produces bulky yarns close to hand-spun yarns. We are the only company in Japan that performs the entire process from spinning to twisting at our factory in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture. This allows us to maintain high quality and produce consistently good yarn. We are based in Chiba, but all of our products are manufactured at our factory in Akita, and we are committed to passing on our Made in Japan technology to the future.

Our History

1952
Founded by Tatsuo Ishii.
Capital 8 million.
1964
A second plant was established in the headquarters plant.
1970
Akita Plant established.
1973
Second phase of Akita Works completed.
1979
The third phase of Akita Works is complete.
1984
After several capital increases, the company's capital is increased to 54 million yen.

Card machine replacement (90in to 80in)
To respond to short-cycle, small-lot production.
1986
Akita Mach Plant newly established. (second plant)
No. 1.2 mule replacement.
